2016 COIN DRIVE PRINCIPAL PLUNGE VIDEO

Students collected coins in their classrooms to help raise funds for next year’s interns. They competed to see which grade level could collect the most jars of coins. 

This year the EHSI 6th grade collected the most jars of coins to participate in the Principal Plunge. They got to dump ice water on the Principal, Terri Sigüenza, the Intern Program Coordinator, Kory Zauhar, and the 6th grade intern, Srta. Pérez.  

The students raised $2,600 for the International Teaching Intern Program! Enjoy the video, and thank you to everyone who participated.

2016 CINCO INTERN VIDEO

For this year’s Cinco event, the interns were interviewed about their experiences here in Minnesota, at school, and their host families for a video which was played at the event.

We wanted to share it with everyone to hear about the wonderful year they have had and how thankful they are for the opportunity you all were part of providing them through your donations, driving, hosting, buddying (I know it’s not a word, just go with it!) and volunteering.
